I will add that the schedule would give only 9 days for public comments after translations are made. I thought this process was supposed to give reasonable review opportunities to non-English speakers?

To add to Paul's concern, more Americans travel on the day before and after Thanksgiving (11/26 this year) to gather with friends and family than any other day of the year. Scheduling a call that day, or the day before or after, will make it impossible for many US participants in the CCWG to join the call.

Really?  You are going to have a critical review call on Thanksgiving day?  I know this is a bit US-centric of me but this goes beyond the bounds of my tolerance.  I have no standing to object, but this is pretty close to the border of being deliberately exclusionary.
