Dear Colleagues,I support the idea of plural but diverse rapporteurs, for this shall lead to balance.I understand and expect, rapporteurs will be neutral and report things ‘as stated’, without translating any statements as per own interpretations.
I propose, that rapporteurs keep things simple, so that the stakeholders from diverse countries and diverse linguistic and vocational backgrounds are enabled to understand and engage. Though, some sub-group issues, like Jurisdiction, are inherently legal in nature, but for facilitating greater participation, rapporteurs may best consider using minimum legalese.
In addition, I suggest that in future WS-2 discussions, parallel to the ‘issue of staff accountability’, the issue of ‘accountability in ad-hoc roles’, may also warrant some attention.
