Kavouss,

As was stated after the webinar earlier today, the chairs and secretariats of the CCWG and ICG as well as the ICANN meeting planning staff have been in close coordination as regards meeting planning for ICANN 54 for weeks already and we will continue to make our utmost efforts to avoid meeting at the same time. We cannot guarantee that there will be zero overlap because there are many different constraints related to meeting planning, but we are all doing everything we can to minimize the overlap.

Dear All
Please be clear , what we mean by "ICG is planning to meet on Saturday and Sunday – maybe in parallel to itself" or what we mean by
" Is the ICG trying to avoid having a parallel meeting with the ICG?"
If we have decided definitively to have meeting
On
Saturday 17 Oct

·       Sunday 18 Oct

·        Thursday 22 Oct

·        Friday 23 Oct

Then we MUST tell CCWG not to plan any meeting paralell with ICG

wE ARE AT CRITICAL TIME AND NEED TO CONCENTRATE ON OUR WORK

Forwarding on behalf of the ICG Secretariat.

Hi All,

The ICG is planning to meet in Dublin on the following dates:

·        Saturday 17 Oct

·        Sunday 18 Oct

·        Thursday 22 Oct

·        Friday 23 Oct

The ICG chairs and secretariat will coordinate with CCWG-staff and the ICANN meetings team to work very hard to avoid clashing time slots.

Best Regards,

Jennifer Chung

Is the ICG trying to avoid having a parallel meeting with the ICG?

Hi all,

As discussed during CCWG meeting #43 (21 July), the CCWG has requested two meetings around ICANN54:

  • Full day Friday 16 October
  • 2h in the morning on Thursday 22 October

Hope this helps clarify for planning purposes,

Grace

Dear All

Pls do not rush to have CCWG f-2 f

WE must avoid to have parallel meeting with ICG

It is counter productive .

Let us do our works quiely and calmly

I strongly oppose any parallel meerting of CCWG and ICG
