Re: [CCWG-ACCT] CCWG-ACCT Extension for Hyderabad Travel Support Applications
That was NOT clear to me, and based on the list of names of those who have submitted requests, not to others as well. Alan At 05/08/2016 08:42 AM, Bernard Turcotte wrote:
Alan,
That is not quite what the policy that was published says. The CCWG-Accountability has a fixed budget for member travel period. As such all travel funding must use the process even if only for 1 night of hotel.
The policy also says that the co-chairs can break up the amounts as they see fit and should work to maximize member participation. As such I would expect that member requests for 1 or 2 extra days of hotel would be considered very seriously to maximize participation.
I would also like to remind participants that the funding is for Members only and that the list of Members can be found at <https://community.icann.org/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=59640780>https://community.icann.org/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=59640780 .
Hope this clarifies things.

Dear CCWG-Acct. Community,
I wanted to reach out to apologize for the initial short turn around for submitting your CCWG-ACCT travel support application to attend the November 2nd face-to-face meeting in Hyderabad.
I appreciate everyoneâs patience as we work with Constituency Travel on the process needed to ensure that travel arrangements for CCWG members can be handled in a timely manner. As a result, we have been able to obtain additional time for CCWG members who have not yet had the opportunity to submit an application to do so.
Please plan to have your application for CCWG-ACCT travel support submitted to <mailto:acct-staff@icann.org>acct-staff@icann.org by August 12th.
I would also like to thank everyone who has already submitted an application for funding; the applications that have been received are being posted on the WS2 wiki under travel support at <https://community.icann.org/display/WEIA/Travel+Support>https://community.icann.org/display/WEIA/Travel+Support
If you have any questions or require additional time to consider your plans, please do not hesitate to contact CCWG-ACCT Staff Support at <mailto:acct-staff@icann.org>acct-staff@icann.or g so we can assist you and keep Constituency Travel informed.
Sincerely,
Karen Mulberry Multistakeholder Strategy and Strategic Initiatives ICANN

Alan and community, Apologies if this was not made clear in the original email but we are all working on very short timelines to get this off the ground and get as many members funded as possible - which is why the closing date has been extended. Please advise if there are any other areas we can clarify.
