Updated WP1 Working Doc: Scope, Powers and Mechanisms
Dear CCWG members, and WP1 colleagues Please find attached the results of an informal working session on the document on Scope Power and Mechanisms for our WP1 - it's basically our working document. We attach PDF and .docx versions showing a clean revised copy and a red-lined comparison showing the changes. We are circulating this broadly to allow it to be used during the meetings next week should this be required. The WP has not yet had a formal meeting so the standing of this document is strictly a working doc, without full input at all so far. ICANN staff will post this on the Wiki in a working docs page, which I think Grace will circulate a link to at the appropriate time. Thank you to the people who could contribute to this in Singapore, and I look forward to working with you all as we move ahead. cheers Jordan -- Jordan Carter Chief Executive *InternetNZ* 04 495 2118 (office) | +64 21 442 649 (mob) jordan@internetnz.net.nz Skype: jordancarter *To promote the Internet's benefits and uses, and protect its potential.*
Has anyone considered proposing an alternative to the meetings changing locations as required at this time and considered recommending as part if the new structure that all meetings take place in LA at ICAAN headquarters? Carrie Sent from my iPhone

Yesterday, Nick de Tomasso, told the GNSO Council that the Working Group on Meetings had abandoned the idea of rotating the meetings between "permanent" hub locations, which should have saved a lot of money. Carlos Raúl Gutiérrez +506 8837 7176 (New Number) Enviado desde mi iPhone
