Of course I have forwarded the document to the WG and await the calls for a meeting for further discussion.
As desirable as the right(?) of any member to contest for another elective position apart from the one previously held is the disadvantage of conscripting the space for other members who also have something to offer to the community and ICANN.
Politically and morally speaking, anyone who has enjoyed a TWO terms tenure in any representational capacity should honourable give way for others to seek election and not close the gap.
That is the essence. All the Regions though I speak for AFRALO have large member followership and more are still coming which will help to advance the visibility of ICANN all over the world, and it should be encouraging for all to have a sense of belonging when they can be inspired(encouraged) to be more participatory.
All the same, it is open for debate and discussion and wisdom will prevail.
It was nice meeting everyone again and new members after London 2014. We shall be seeing more of each other from now on.
