Dear all,
I hope you had a lovely weekend and are preparing for a new week. With the same spirit of anticipation, I would love to add my voice in nomination for the At-Large leadership position.
I nominate Tinuade Oguntuyi. Tinuade Oguntuyi is a multi-award-winning transformational technology leader with over a decade of experience in telecoms, IP networks, technical sales, IT solutions, infrastructure design, consulting, policy, and customer experience.

She currently serves as General Manager, Technical at Information Connectivity Solutions Limited (ICSL)  one of Nigeria's leading ISPs. There, she has led the planning and execution of hundreds of internet and connectivity infrastructure projects across 12+ sectors, including government, education, and financial institutions. She specialises in leveraging satellite, fibre optics, microwave, SIM, cloud, and AI-based solutions to bridge Nigeria's digital divide  especially in rural and underserved communities.

Tinuade Oguntuyi brings a powerful combination of technical expertise, governance insight, and community leadership that aligns strongly with the mission of the At-Large community within the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers.

She has demonstrated consistent leadership in cybersecurity, risk management, and information systems governance, with a strong understanding of how internet infrastructure impacts end users, trust, and digital resilience. Her work reflects a deep commitment to building secure, inclusive, and accountable digital ecosystems, particularly within emerging and underrepresented regions.

A key strength she brings is her ability to bridge technical and non-technical communities—translating complex cybersecurity and internet governance issues into accessible insights that empower broader participation. This is critical to the At-Large model, which prioritizes end-user representation and multistakeholder engagement.

Additionally, she has a proven track record in mentorship, capacity building, and community engagement, supporting the growth of cybersecurity professionals and strengthening participation in global digital policy spaces.

Her perspective from Africa adds valuable insight into regional challenges such as connectivity gaps, DNS security awareness, and digital inclusion, ensuring policy discussions remain globally representative and grounded in real-world needs.

Regards,

Gbemisola Esho

Greetings All.

I write to correct my earlier typo, where I referred to Tinuade as a he. Please bear with me.

Thank you.

Dear AfRALO Community,

I would like to formally second the candidature of Hervé Sètondji Hounzandji for a second term as Secretary of AFRALO.
During his tenure, Hervé has demonstrated reliability, discipline and a strong sense of responsibility in managing the administrative and coordination functions of our organization. The role of Secretary is often understated, yet it is fundamental to the effectiveness and continuity of AFRALO’s operations. Hervé has consistently ensured that communication flows remain structured, records are properly maintained and our processes are executed with professionalism.
What distinguishes Hervé is his ability to combine operational efficiency with a collaborative mindset. He engages constructively with members across the region, facilitates coordination without bias and contributes to maintaining a cohesive and respectful working environment within AFRALO.
Continuity in this role is particularly valuable. A second term would allow him to build on the systems, practices and institutional knowledge already established, while further strengthening the consistency and responsiveness of our internal processes.
In a community that relies heavily on coordination across diverse stakeholders and time zones, Hervé’s steady and dependable approach is an asset. His reappointment would support stability and reinforce the administrative backbone of AFRALO.
I therefore fully support his candidature for a second term.
Kind regards,
Dave Kissoondoyal
