On behalf of the ALAC & GAC Leadership, we are pleased to announce our third Regulatory Developments Briefing Series on “Regulatory Approaches to Cybersecurity and Internet Governance: Practical Insights on DNS Abuse, Cross-Border Data Access under the Budapest Convention, and the UN Cybercrime Convention (with Jan Kralik, Programme Manager, Cybercrime Division, Council of Europe)”, scheduled on Thursday, 24 April 2025 at 16:00 UTC.

This session will offer expert perspectives on regulatory efforts addressing DNS abuse and cybercrime, with a focus on cross-border access to data under the Second Additional Protocol to the Budapest Convention and ongoing negotiations of the UN Cybercrime Convention. The discussion aims to provide a practical outlook on current developments at the intersection of cybersecurity and Internet governance.
