The acronym of this organisation being LISOC, I inferred incorrectly that this was an Internet Society Chapter. Upon checking with the Internet Society, it appears it is not, despite the full English name being confusing: Libyan Internet Society.

The organisation is therefore not part of the Internet Society. Apologies for the misinterpretation. Due diligence to be sent out shortly.

This is to inform you that we received an ALS application from ISOC Libya. It is based in Libya and would be a member of AFRALO if accepted.

Please find the application form attached in its original arabic version. Once EN translation is received, staff will forward it to you and prepare the Due Diligence. This will probably be once ICANN57 ends.
