Following up on the Call for Nominations for the Individual member representative election the deadline of 19^th August has now passed.

Abdulkarim Oloyede self-nominated on 18 August 2022, being the only candidate.

Therefore, as stated in the announcement if there is more than 1 nominee, “there will be an election, otherwise the candidate will be selected by acclamation.”

Accordingly, Abdulkarim Oloyede has been selected by acclamation.

His term will begin at the close of the 2022 ICANN AGM and will end at the 2023 AGM.
