Hi Pastor Peters,

By all means. Actually while drafting the proposed topic, i my mind was gravitating around the community though i used DNS to try and ensure we are within ICANNs remit. I support the proposed modification. We are facing  new challenges such ad ZOOM overload, ZOOM bombing, managing group dynamics in an online context which requires a new form of resilience.

Best Regards

Dear All
Thank you, Barrack, for your suggestion.
May I modify the topic to read:

Enhancing the resilience of the Empowered Community within ICANN during a Pandemic.

Restricting it to the DNS is restricting our roles in ICANN to just the DNS. How do we at our different levels of involvement as stakeholders cope with a pandemic? How has the pandemic impacted on our involvement in ICANN? What proactive measures can we put in place against future pandemics?
Thank you

Hello all,

We have received 2 suggestions so far about the topic for the meeting. Both topics (suggested by Liz Orembo and Barrack Otieno) are about participation in ICANN during this pandemic.

Kindly let us know if this topic is okay. The deadline to submit topics is tomorrow, 22 May 2020.

We have also received some expressions of interest to join the drafting team. If you are interested, please reach out offlist.
