Le comité de sélection recevra les Expressions d’intérêt des candidats, les passera en revue et sélectionnera les meilleurs candidats éligibles au vote.
 
IMPORTANT : Critères pour les délégués au NomCom:
 
Le NomCom est responsable de la sélection des membres du conseil d'administration de l'ICANN, de l'ALAC, du ccNSO et du GNSO.
C'est une fonction très importante et tous les candidats doivent répondre auxs critères importants suivants :

  • Familiarité avec les groupes de l'ICANN pour lesquels le NomCom désigne des dirigents (conseil d'administration, ALAC, GNSO, ccNSO).
  • Aptitude à juger les gens (comme lors d'entretiens et d'embauche). 
  • Maîtrise de la langue Anglaise (compris, parlé, écrit) 
  • Bonnes compétences en ligne, telles que Google et les médias sociaux. 
  • Engagement de temps - Doit être disposé à consacrer beaucoup de temps dans des délais serrés (mars à juin). incluant voyages jusqu'à 4 réunions.
  • Habileté à travailler dans un environnement de groupe, défendant ce que vous croyez dans une discussion avec d’autres personnalités fortes, mais en même temps, être à l’écoute et pouvoir changer d’avis si quelqu'un d'autre a un bon argument. La diplomatie est importante. 
  • Expérience et connaissance des exigences et des attentes d’At-Large et de la communauté ICANN au sens large.
  • Expérience dans la sélection de candidats pour des groupes de travail techniques, des postes de travail ou connaissance des procédures de recrutement.

Calendrier des élections:
 
08 Juillet 2019              à 12:00 GMT : Clôture de la période de candidature.
08 Juillet 2019              entre 12:00 et 23:59 GMT : Traitement des candidatures reçues par le comité de sélection
09 Juillet 2019              Ouverture de la période de vote
12 Juillet 2019              à 12:00 GMT : Clôture de la période de vote
12 Juillet 2019              Avant 23:59 : Annonce des résultats et transfert à ALAC
