Dear AFRALO Leadership and Members,
I am writing to formally express my interest in joining the AFRALO Advisory Group (AAG), following the announcement and invitation shared during our teleconference on January 7, 2026.
Having been a part of the AFRALO journey for many years, I fully support the creation of the AAG as a mechanism for institutional memory and strategic guidance. I believe my history with this community aligns well with the objectives of this group.
I am submitting my interest based on the following criteria:
Working Group Leadership: I serve as the Current and Pioneer Chair of the AFRALO Newsletter. In this role, I have been responsible for documenting our community's milestones, which has given me a unique perspective on our institutional history and the evolving needs of our members.
Long-standing Involvement: My active engagement with AFRALO spans well over the required five years, during which I have consistently worked to enhance communication and transparency within the region.
As a member of the Advisory Group, I intend to leverage my experience to:
Support Continuity: Use my experience as a pioneer chair to help bridge the gap between past initiatives and future strategies.
Strategic Communication: Provide insights on how we can better share our successes and navigate internal challenges through clear, experience-based guidance.
Mentorship: Offer support to current leadership and newcomers to ensure the sustained growth of AFRALO.
I am eager to continue my service to the African At-Large community through this advisory role and look forward to the continued collaboration.
Warm regards,
Remmy Nweke Chair, AFRALO Newsletter Working Group
