Sorry, I didn’t answer your second question on the Zoom chat: it was because I didn’t read the last part of your message.
Here is my answer:
Regarding to 1 (d), it also depends on funding available to the ALSes, so asking them to have activities may be difficult, except if you mean also attending other activities related to their aims and objectives and not necessarily their own activities or ensure a certain funding is made directly to ALSes as members of AFRALO. This I am not sure is workable. What I think we may do is to request, at least 1 activity by ALS per year.
Let’s remember that the aim of having accredited ALSes to form the RALO was to have them report to the RALO, ALAC and ICANN in general the opinions, concerns and questions of the ALS community on the ground (grassroot) and also report to the ALS community the information of ICANN, ALAC and the RALO activities, debates and decisions.
It's not required that the ALS organize events for that. It’s in the normal working of the ALS to interact with its community.
For example, report on the community position about hot topics discussed in ICANN, or their position regarding AFRALO individual non-affiliated members, their rights, their duties, etc.
