Dear AFRALO Colleagues,
I’m honoured to share that I will be attending the
AfCFTA Digital Trade Forum 2025, scheduled for 8–10 May 2025 at the Mulungushi International Conference Centre in Lusaka, Zambia, on behalf of AFRALO.
The forum’s theme, “
Boosting Digital Trade to Accelerate AfCFTA Implementation,” aligns closely with AFRALO’s ongoing efforts to promote inclusive, user-centric Internet governance across Africa.
In preparation for this important engagement, I would like to hear from you:
1. What key messages or priorities should I emphasize on AFRALO’s behalf?
2. Are there specific policy issues, user concerns, or initiatives you’d like me to raise or explore?
3. Would anyone like to co-develop or review AFRALO inputs, including the concept note on strategic collaboration with the AfCFTA Secretariat?
I’ve drafted a concept note titled
“Advancing Digital Inclusion and User-Centric Internet Governance within the AfCFTA Framework,” which I plan to use as a starting point for engagement. I'm open to strengthening it with your perspectives.
Let’s use this opportunity to position AFRALO as a constructive voice in shaping Africa’s digital future.
Looking forward to your input, guidance, and collaboration.
