I also wish to express my full support for Tinuade’s nomination. Her passion for inclusive engagement across all categories of end users is second to none. She demonstrates this commitment even beyond this circle by actively participating in local ALS activities, where she engages directly with end users and consistently promotes AFRALO’s mission and initiatives.
I therefore humbly and wholeheartedly support her nomination.

Dear All,

I am pleased to nominate Tinuade Oguntuyi for the position of a Secretarial role in the 2026 leadership selections within the African Regional At-Large Organization (AFRALO) of the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN).

Tinuade is someone who has consistently shown up for this community not just in attendance, but in contribution.  She brings to this role not only experience but clarity of purpose. Tinuade understands the responsibility of At-Large leadership in ensuring that end-user perspectives are meaningfully represented in ICANN processes, and she has repeatedly shown the ability to translate complex policy issues into practical, relatable discussions for broader community engagement.

Over time, she has demonstrated a clear understanding of how At-Large works and why it matters. She has supported community engagement, participated meaningfully in conversations, and helped make complex topics easier for others to follow. Her approach to leadership is grounded in service, collaboration, and inclusion.

Tinuade’s strengths for this role are evident:
• A good working knowledge of ICANN and At-Large processes
• Active involvement within AFRALO activities
• The ability to work well with others across stakeholder groups
• A strong interest in capacity building and community participation
• A steady commitment to representing end-user perspectives

Tinuade is dependable, articulate, and genuinely invested in the growth and effectiveness of the At-Large community. She approaches leadership as service, and her presence in this role will further strengthen AFRALO’s contributions to ALAC and the broader ICANN community. I am confident she will carry out the responsibilities of this position with care and integrity.

I strongly support and recommend her nomination.

Kind regards,
Confidence Osein
