ICANN has opened the call for proposals for UA Day 2026, with events scheduled to take place between 25 March and 30 May 2026. This presents a wonderful opportunity for AFRALO to once again take a leading role in advancing Universal Acceptance (UA) and digital inclusion across our region.
I would therefore like to form a small team to develop and submit an AFRALO-led proposal for UA Day 2026. The team will work collaboratively to design an engaging, impactful event concept that highlights Africa’s contributions to promoting a multilingual and inclusive Internet.
