An interesting application, i don't know them personally, but it seems
they are doing good work from what is reflected in their web site .
Looking for the due diligence .

Dear All,
The ALAC Chair has asked At-Large staff to advise the At-Large regions that
she will be sending out two election calls shortly.  The first election call
will be for that of Board Liaison.  This call will be followed three weeks
later by a second election call for the other liaison positions (GNSO,
ccNSO, NCUC, SSAC, IDN issues) and the ALAC appointment to the dotMobi
Policy Advisory Board.
For the position of Board Liaison, based on discussions between the ALAC
and members of the Structural Improvements Committee and the ALAC Review
Committee and whilst remaining within the current Rules of Procedure
(ROPs)  regarding an ALAC Election process, it is planned that in addition
to the traditional nomination process previously conducted, the ALAC will
explore the effectiveness of the different processes used to create a pool
of candidates for potential use in future election calls.  Thus, this
election call will serve as a trial-run of the type of process that may be
utilized for election calls for candidates to become Voting Members to the
ICANN Board.
Once the ALAC Chair has sent the official 'Election Call' for the very
important Board Liaison election, each Region will be requested to forward
the names of nominees that have been endorsed by the RALOs and their member
ALSes to the public At-Large list within 14 days of the candidates'
'registration' as required by the ALAC ROPs. Nominees should be of the
highest possible stature and possess exceptional capabilities, energy, and
enthusiasm so as to effectively contribute to the future development of the
ALAC.
With this notice, the ALAC Chair wishes to heighten awareness within the
Regions of the imminent election call so that the Regions may begin the
necessary discussions for the process by which they wish to create a pool of
candidates. ALAC strongly encourages and desires a wide, global pool of
candidates for these positions.

leurs structures At-Large membres (ALS) pour inclusion dans la liste
