Dear all,
It appears that the members of At-Large Board Selection Committee (ABSC) shouldn?t be part of the electorate.
And since the electorate will be the ALAC members plus the RALOs chairpersons, Mohamed, Hawa, Dave and Fatimata couldn?t be members of the ABSC. Adam Peak withdrew from the ABSC membership for the same reason.
AFRALO has to appoint a new member for the ABSC to replace Mohamed. And we have to do so as soon as possible.
I want to remind you that the ABSC members have to commit themselves to allocate the necessary time to the work of the Committee.
Nominations should start now, and it will be good if we can appoint the new member by Friday.

On January 16th, ISOC Liberia sent us an updated ALS application and asked us to resume the ALS application process which was suspended since July 2007. Please find the Due Diligence form attached and the updated application form attached.
We have also contacted Anne Lord our contact person at ISOC who confirmed that ISOC Liberia is a recognized ISOC Chapter.
We kindly ask you to provide us with the regional advice for this application in your capacity as At-Large Secretary for this region. Your advice will support the ALAC review on this application.
According to our timeline for this ALS application, the due date for the regional advice is on March 10th, 2010.
We would like to remind you that the DD form could contain sensitive information. Please read the form carefully before sending it off to third parties.

Je veux rappeler que le ABSC est en quelque sorte le Nom Com dAt-Large pour la sélection du Directeur. Son rôle est détudier les candidatures, retenir celles qui remplient les conditions requises, les mettre sur un bulletin de vote qui sera transmis à ALAC. Les membres dALAC plus les présidents des RALO voteront. Un point très important : le travail du ABSC sera en Anglais. Alors Baudouin, si tu peux remplir cette condition, tu es mon candidat.
