The "AFRALO UA Training Sessions" was a joint effort between AFRALO, ICANN, and the Universal Acceptance Steering Group <https://uasg.tech/> (UASG), designed to increase Universal Acceptance (UA) awareness across the African region. This training program consisted of two sessions held in May and November 2022 covering key topics such as “Introduction to IDNs and how ICANN Community helped for multilingual Internet”, “Introduction to UA of domain names and email addresses”, work to be done to promote UA, encouraging volunteering, informing about how panels work. The Sessions included quiz interactive questions about IDNs/ Integration Panels / variants / security issues / etc. Over 50 participants from AFRALO and the African region participated in each of these training sessions.
