I assume you mean a Domain has been transferred without the Registrants consent to a different Registrant? Talk immediately to the Registry - to at least notify them of the issue. They can fix the problem. Talk to the Registrar. Explain the problem to them. If the Domain is no longer with them - then the Registry is the primary route to take. If the Domain was not renewed - and thus deleted then reregistered - you may have a problem! That's like forgetting to pay the rent on your house and the Landlord then renting it out to someone else. Hello Martha, Since you did not renew it on time, the other person who has registered it anew is the new owner/registrant, unfortunately. There are people out there who take interest in looking out for expired domain names and they will renew it. It is a business for them, because they know the first registrant will come looking for their domain. Few options I will suggest is for you to contact your domain host or registrar and tell them to negotiate for you to get the domain back. It mostly comes at a fee. I am hopeful you will get a suitable solution. When did it actually expire? Many Registrars (certainly myself) have an "Auto-Renew" flag so domains can be automatically renewed. This flag is (on my site) managed by the Registrant. It does mean that the Registrar has to collect the renewal cost from the Registrant - or put up a nasty "Suspended due to non-payment" site... but cheaper than buying back the Domain from a porn site and the cost of the loss of respect from the Registrants customers. I assume you mean a Domain has been transferred without the Registrants consent to a different Registrant? Talk immediately to the Registry - to at least notify them of the issue. They can fix the problem. Talk to the Registrar. Explain the problem to them. If the Domain is no longer with them - then the Registry is the primary route to take.
If the Domain was not renewed - and thus deleted then reregistered - you may have a problem! That's like forgetting to pay the rent on your house and the Landlord then renting it out to someone else.
