Français ci-dessous ------------------- Dear all, As per the Resolution 20 of the ICANN Board, a Working Group has been formed to develop a sustainable approach to providing support to applicants requiring assistance in applying for and operating new gTLDs (generic Top Level Domain). AFRALO has invited the whole African community (AfrICANN) attending the Brussels ICANN meeting (20-25 June 2010) for a joint meeting in Brussels to define the expectations of the African applicants for a new gTLD from the Board resolution 20, and bring them to the so called Working Group and also to the board. To prepare our joint meeting in Brussels, a Drafting Team has been formed to propose a draft statement that will be discussed, modified if needed, and adopted in Brussels. The Drafting Team needs to identify the African applicants for new gTLDs, or at least those who are so far known. Can you please help in giving the name and the contacts (e-mail address and/or mobile phone) of those that you know, or that people from your networks know? Thank you very much for your precious help. -------------------------------------- Mon Cher tous, En application de la résolution 20 du Conseil d’Administration d’ICANN, tenu en Mars 2010 à Nairobi, un Groupe de travail a été formé pour développer une approche durable pour fournir un appui aux demandeurs qui nécessitent une assistance pour faire la demande et pour exploiter les nouveaux gTLD (generic Top Level Domain = Domaine Internet générique de premier niveau). AFRALO a invité tous les membres de la communauté Africaine (AfrICANN) qui participent à la réunion d’ICANN à Bruxelles du 20 au 25 Juin 2010 pour une réunion commune à Bruxelles pour définir les attentes des demandeurs Africains de nouveau gTLD de la résolution 20 du Board, et les transmettre au dit Groupe de Travail, ainsi qu’au Board lui-même. Pour bien préparer notre réunion commune de Bruxelles, une équipe de rédaction a été formée pour proposer un projet de communiqué qui sera discuté, modifié s’il y a lieu et adopté à Bruxelles. L’équipe de rédaction aurait besoin d’identifier les demandeurs Africains des nouveaux gTLD, ou au moins ceux qui sont déjà connus. Pourriez-vous s’il vous plait nous aider à les trouver ?
