I am humbled and honoured. Having been part of ICANN, I was part of the 2016 NextGen programme and mentored new participants through the NextGen Ambassadors’ programme, as well as part of the selection committee. Also, I was an ICANN fellow under the AtLarge mentorship. Additionally, I have participated in several working groups including but not limited to the Rules of Procedure WG, Right Protection Mechanism WG and the AFRALO Newsletter WG. I have also been a pen holder for different policy comments on IANA transition and ICANN organizational reviews. Currently, I play an active role at the Africa IGF; I am part of the steering teams of the East Africa and Kenya IGFs. I also serve at the Secretariat and leadership roles of different membership and volunteering organizations such as KICTANet. I am equally involved in policy and stakeholder engagements in Kenya on a wide array of ICT subjects such as data protection, internet access, cybersecurity and digital inclusion.
