On behalf of Jonathan Zuck, Chair of the ALAC, this is to announce that the ALAC has endorsed Vanda Scartezini to serve as the ALAC-selected ICANN87-ICANN89 Fellowship Mentor.

The Members of the ALAC Appointee Selection Committee (AASC) completed a thorough review of the Expressions of Interest (EOIs) of eight (8) candidates who applied to serve as the ALAC-selected ICANN87-ICANN89 Fellowship Mentor. The AASC was tasked with selecting one (1) Fellowship Mentor for ALAC endorsement.  Having carefully considered each candidate's EOI, the AASC selected and recommended to the ALAC that Vanda serve in this position for the one-year term during the ICANN87-89 meetings.

The ALAC completed a consensus call on 3 February 2026 endorsing Vanda.

Congratulations to Vanda and many thanks to the members of the At-Large community who submitted applications.
