By Sally Costerton, Interim President and CEO
On behalf of the ICANN organization, I would like to thank everyone who participated in ICANN80 both in person and online.
Moreover, I’d like to thank our host, the Government of Rwanda, which also hosted the High-Level Government Meeting in conjunction with the Policy Forum. This meeting
emphasized the important role that governments play in advising the ICANN Board on public policy issues that impact the Domain Name System (DNS).
Over the past four days, the ICANN Board, community, and organization made notable progress toward achieving our shared goals and fulfilling our mission of a secure,
stable, and unified global Internet.
Thank you all for fostering a productive and inclusive environment, and I look forward to seeing you at ICANN81!
