The selection of the RDS Review Team (RDS/WHOIS2-RT) followed the new Post-Transition process which assigned the responsibility for the selection of Review Team members to the chairs of ICANN's Supporting Organizations (SOs) and Advisory Committees (ACs). The RDS/WHOIS2 Review was formerly named the WHOIS Review and was required under the Affirmation of Commitments.
