The Generic Names Supporting Organization (GNSO) Expedited Policy Development Process (EPDP) for Internationalized Domain Names (IDNs) (EPDP-IDNs) continued its Phase 2 deliberations pertaining to second-level variant management. In this Working Session, the EPDP-IDNs team commenced review of the public comments received on the Phase 2 Preliminary Outputs to prepare for the Final Report. The EPDP-IDNs team support staff gave an overview of the public comments received on the Phase 2 Initial Report and highlighted the Public Comment Review Tool created to assist in the EPDP-IDNs team’s deliberations. Donna Austin, Chair of the EPDP-IDNs Team, began examining the unsubstantiated issues addressed in the public comments to open the discussion for the team in preparation for its Phase 2 Final Report.
