But what makes it work the way it does, and what goes into ensuring that you, the user, get a smooth, unhindered Internet experience? Today's Internet provides us with new ways of accessing, interacting and connecting people and content. As more and more people get connected to the Internet, its growth and governance raises several questions when we attempt to determine which of its benefits we value the most. Do we want unfettered access to information or privacy? What kind of balance should be achieved? What is 'net neutrality, and why should we care about it? For the second year running, Poland will play host to the "Who Rules The Internet" workshop on Internet Governance. During this daylong event, we will further build upon last years' sessions and address the most pertinent issues of the day, one of which is the US government's handover of its oversight of the technical functions of the Internet to the Global Internet Community ("IANA Stewardship Transition"), the enhancement of ICANN's accountability mechanisms, amongst other key issues and how they reflect on Internet ecosystem today. This workshop is open to anyone interested in the Internet. Please join us on 30th September 2015 at the Warsaw University Library.
