In June 2009 the ICANN Board approved a resolution (2009.06.26.18: <http://www.icann.org/en/minutes/resolutions-26jun09.htm#6>) requesting that the GNSO and the SSAC, in consultation with staff, convene an Internationalized Registration Data Working Group (IRD-WG) comprised of individuals with knowledge, expertise, and experience in these areas to study the feasibility and suitability of introducing display specifications to deal with the internationalization of registration data. The working group has produced an interim report that discusses several potential models for internationalizing domain registration data, and is seeking feedback from the community about the models and on other key questions via a public consultation that is open until 14 March 2011. During this call, participants will be able to engage in a discussion of the Interim Report of the Internationalized Registration Data Working Group with Steve and At-Large representatives on the IRD-WG.
