Hi  Folks
When  Dev posted the request for us to add our  local RALO CROPP  Strategies  I transferred the information from our   Google doc to the wiki page with the expectations that others will do as well and provide their critical feedback on our proposal

What I see is a wholesale discussion of  DNS for Women.  Let me ask  are we being  encouraged to incorporate in our CROPP  trips a gender equity perspective?

Dear Daniel, thank you for your e-mail.

In Johannesburg, I will make a presentation to Women in the DNS Women event –Wednesday evening – June 28th  and as far as I know at the venue.  Tanzanica  from ICANN asked me if I could share time/space and sponsorship with Afralo show case, and I agree, since I had day/time already agreed with Göran and Steve Crocker as they normally attend our meeting  and the event is short in time, so only 3 nights available.

As soon as a colleague makes the invitation, will make it available for you all.

Let me use the opportunity to ask if it is you all: AZIZ / Daniel / Sarah the ones coordinating the Afralo Show Case? If so let’s start organize details among ourselves to make both events go smoothly.

Kisses to all

    Dear All.

With the Community Regional Outreach Pilot Program (CROPP) for FY17
ending on June 30 2017 (and confirmation that the the Community
Regional Outreach Program (CROP) will continue in FY18), one of the
key deliverables for CROP FY18 before any CROPP proposals can be
considered for FY18 is the submission of a updated Outreach Strategic
    Plan for each RALO.

Each RALO's Outreach Strategic Plan should explain its FY18 outreach
goals and planned expectations so that any selected CROPP activities
can be coordinated with the appropriate ICANN Global Stakeholder
    Engagement teams.

These proposals must also be approved by the regional GSEs.

This is an opportunity to review the CROPP FY17 At-Large RALOs
Outreach Plans  and CROPP FY16 At-Large RALOs Outreach Plans, review
their outcomes and refine or develop new goals for FY18

Given that the CROP wiki has yet to be built out, the At-Large
Outreach and Engagement SC will use
https://community.icann.org/x/rBjwAw to draft their Outreach Plans for
    FY18.

RALOs that are considering CROP proposals to begin in July or August
2017 should consider their outreach plans NOW and seek approvals from
GSE before the end of CROPP FY17. It is anticipated that the same
conditions would apply for CROP FY18, namely that ICANN requires 6
weeks minimum for receiving APPROVED CROP proposals before the event
takes place. This means for At-Large and GSE to have time to review
and approve CROP proposals, we should strive to have proposals
submitted for review at least 7 weeks before such proposed travel
    takes place.

    Kind Regards,

    Dev Anand
    O&E chair
