Following up on the Call for Nominations for the ALAC Chair, as of the deadline of 21 September 2020 at 23:59 UTC, Maureen Hilyard was the only ALAC Member who was nominated.  
 
Maureen accepted the nomination on 18 September 2020 along with her nominee statement.
 
Therefore, in accordance with ALAC RoP 16.3, Maureen has been re-appointed as the ALAC Chair by acclamation. 
 
Her one year term will be begin at the end of the 2020 AGM taking place at ICANN69 and end at the 2021 AGM taking place at ICANN72.
