The Council's meeting agenda has now been updated to accommodate a discussion on our petition as well as next steps following the Board resolution of 19 May. However, any decision of the GNSO will be subject to a 2-step vote, with the first vote requiring unanimity to consider a motion on the petition.

I am happy to stand corrected - today, a couple of councilors have requested a discussion on our petition to enable Council to response as an EC participant. Right now, it will probably take place during the Council meeting on 10 July but I think GNSO leadership might be considering an alternative.
