The Empowered Community (EC) had received notice that the Board approved an amendment to the Bylaws (https://www.icann.org/resources/board-material/resolutions-2018-05-13-en#1.d). As a member of the EC, the ALAC may take action to object to this change.

The change is to implement the new GNSO voting thresholds associated with exercising EC powers, and had previously been the subject of a Public Comment (https://community.icann.org/x/toLpB).

I recommend that we take no action.
