On behalf of Jonathan Zuck, ALAC Chair, please note that the ALAC has appointed Eduardo Diaz to fill the position of ALAC NomCom Delegate from North America left vacant by the resignation of Glenn McKnight.

 

On 25 November 2024, Glenn McKnight informed Jonathan Zuck, ALAC Chair, of his resignation as the NomCom Delegate from North America.

 

On 12 December 2024 Greg Shatan, NARALO Chair, informed the ALAC Chair that Eduardo Diaz was the regional recommended candidate for the ALAC NomCom Delegate from North America.  

 

On 13 December 2024, Jonathan Zuck, ALAC Chair, asked staff to launch a vote starting Friday, 13 December 2024 for four days for the available position of the ALAC Delegate to the NomCom from the North American Region left vacant by the resignation of Glenn McKnight. 

 

On 15 December 2024, the ALAC vote to appoint the ALAC Delegate to the NomCom from the North American Region was completed with a unanimous selection for Eduardo Diaz.  The voting results may be seen here: https://tally.icann.org/cgi/results?e=5b1f929ca6d.

 

Eduardo Diaz will complete the remainder of the one-year term that will start immediately at the conclusion of the ALAC vote through the end of the 2025 AGM.
