DNS Fundamentals Course Now Available on ICANN Learn

INFORMATION SHARING
DNS Fundamentals is a new foundational course available on ICANN Learn, ICANN's free and open online learning platform that introduces the basics of the Domain Name System (DNS). The course takes learners through the different components of the DNS; explaining resource records, the different types, and why they are useful; delving into DNS processes such as DNS delegations, reverse mapping, DNS resolution, and caching; and discussing the importance of avoiding security risks associated with DNS behavior. Along with a forthcoming Policy Fundamentals course, DNS Fundamentals will serve as a cornerstone for developing capacity in the ICANN ecosystem. Both courses will be translated into Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, and Spanish.
