DUE ON MONDAY: Appointments to GNSO PDP to Review the Transfer Policy

The Generic Names Supporting Organization (GNSO) Council recently initiated a two-phased policy development process (PDP) to review the Transfer Policy, which will determine if changes to the policy are needed to improve the ease, security, and efficacy of inter-registrar and inter-registrant transfers.

Call for Volunteers: GNSO PDP Working Group to Review the Transfer Policy

  • Supporting Organization, Advisory Committee, Stakeholder Group, and Constituency chairs received a letter inviting them to appoint a limited number of members and alternates to the GNSO PDP working group to review the Transfer Policy.
  • The deadline for appointments is Monday, 26 April 2021.
REMINDER: Register for Webinar on Prioritization of ICANN Work and Supplemental Fund for Implementation of Community Recommendations

The ICANN org Planning and Finance teams will host a webinar on Tuesday, 27 April 2021 at 15:00 UTC to discuss prioritizing ICANN work and the proposed supplemental fund for implementation of community recommendations. Please register in advance to receive details to join this webinar.

In this webinar, the Planning team will provide an overview of the "Prioritization of ICANN Work" project, including its purpose and scope, work plan, and community engagement. Prioritization of ICANN work is a targeted outcome of the Planning at ICANN operating initiative in the ICANN FY21-25 Operating Plan. It includes the design and implementation of a prioritization framework in collaboration with the ICANN community, Board and org. The Finance team will also share the proposed supplemental fund for implementation of community recommendations.
