Dear all,

APRALO has been silent through these discussions, as we already have our own Mentoring program which was considered reasonably successful (although it had no funding). We were planning to continue our program into its second edition.

Now that the Onboarding Program is gathering momentum, we are exploring how we can dovetail our program into the OP. Maureen and Holly will report back in the forthcoming ALAC call with our suggestions.

I wonder if they have content that is different for each of the successive sessions.  If the mentees  sit through the same sessions each ICANN meeting it becomes rather pointless

This was the program administrator opinion. But do we feel it will be enough????
For the record, the first pilot program took 4 to 5 consecutive ICANN meetings with the same mentees. I do believe that the continuity is an essential element of success.

I am not disputing that. But with an already funded Mentor, two mentees per meeting x 3 meetings = 6 slots in total. We have 5 RALOs. If we follow the "4 or 5 consecutive ICANN meetings" strategy, some RALOs will not benefit from the Onboarding program at all.
Kindest regards,

Olivier
