    1. Timing of Approval Action Decision by Council

It is expected that the Board will pass a resolution on 10 November to amend a Fundamental Bylaw. This triggers the approval action process, which by mutual agreement has been expedited by agreeing to a community forum during ICANN81.

This also resulted in a need for the ccNSO to take a decision to approve, object or abstain by mid-December . If no decision is made, the ccNSO will be considered to have abstained.

The ccNSO received an application for membership from the ccTLD Manager for .bd (Bangla Dash) the Posts and Telecommunications Division, Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. No administrative issues showed.

  1. Extension of the duration of ccNSO Policy Gap Analysis Working Group

According to its charter the WG  had to be introduced by ICANN81, in order to address them and related methods. The WG has completed part of this work, but still needs to explore gaps that have not emerged in practical terms. The WG therefore seeks to extend its mandate to ICANN83, allowing it to present its results in Seattle and present its recommendations in Prague.
