Yes I strongly support both and would like us to push for option b. We have been trying to get icann to take over this work for years. Last year I spoke to the CIO about it and he seemed interested but told me no discussions could be held until after GDPR and then it was dropped. It is high time he got some official recognition for his work

It’s been mentioned by many people that we should consider giving special recognition to Dev for his stakeholder mapping tool. I would suggest two non-exclusive options:

 

1. ALAC proclamation
2. Board advice that they should recognize him for his service.

 

It’s in ver8.61 and he’s been working on this thankless task for many years. I’d also recommend that we do not tell Dev. I think the surprise is part of the recognition.
