I recall asking during one of the ALAC calls (can't remember which one), about how nomcom was going to be treating the ongoing review recommending with respect to work of current nomcom and the response I got from the Co-Chairs of the review committee was that some of the review recommendations will be implemented in 2019 and there was good interaction with current nomcom regarding this.
This letter from SSAC apparently says/implies otherwise.
