Dear ALAC,

The ALAC Statement on the Planned Implementation of the New Registration Data Access Protocol (RDAP) was received on 1 Dec 2015.  A formal reply is being prepared.  The gist of it is that the Board will consider the input together with the results of the Public Comments on Registration Data Access Protocol (RDAP) Operational Profile for gTLD Registries and Registrars (see forwarded information below).  The ALAC may want to consider submitting a statement into the Public Comments process.

Moving forward, I would like to propose a slight adjustment to the ALAC statement template.  If a statement is an advice to the Board, it should be indicated in the statement itself.  You might want to create a field with a box that you can tick or an added sentence.  This is to avoid any miscommunication that may occur in the transmission and processing of the statement.
