Further to my previous email dated July 17th confirming the request from NomCom 2011 for appointments to be made by the ALAC and proposing the following time table and methods for Regional input / advice on candidates for ALAC appointment to the 2011 NomCom as regional representative voting members. In preparation for these ALAC Appointments I am now formally calling for Regional Input / Advice, and ask you to note that as only minor modifications (to point 5 marked *5) to the time table now below, were proposed and none effected the starting date, can all Regional Leaders please begin what processes they deem suitable between timetable point 1. 'Nominations Open' and point 6. 'ALAC Voting begins', to ensure that their advice to the ALAC on proposed candidates for this important role in ICANN is conducted as outlined. Proposed Time line and process for ALAC appointed NomCom members (1 from each Region) to serve on the 2011 Nominating Committee (to be completed by end August and *candidates must be willing and able to attend the Cartagena Meeting no. 39 in December this year.
