Dear All: After 67 meetings, last February 20th., the ccPDP on the (de-)selection of IDN ccTLD Working Group issued its Final Report, as required under Annex B section 9.c of the ICANN Bylaws. The Final Report as included will also be posted on the ccPDP4 Webpage and announced to the community. The Council will be asked to: 1. Vote on the recommendation in Part A of the Report 2. Adopt the advises to the ccTLD Managers in part B of the Report All issues identified in the Report have been addressed, as well as the request by the Board to coordinate the development efforts with the GNSO EPDP WG and the Council’s request includes recommendations with respect to the relevancy of the ccTLD review mechanism and the exclusion of claims etc. relating to the selection of IDN ccTLDs strings from ICANN’s IRP and Reconsideration processes.
