Due to a major computer problem, I have lost several days over the last week, but I have finally completed the revision of the Position Description. There are three documents pointed to by Item 6 of "For Discussion" on the ALAC meeting agenda this week - https://st.icann.org/alac/index.cgi?22_september_2009. Draft + comments: This is the original document plus all comments. Draft with comments embedded: This is the same version, but with the comments summarized within the text. The comments are within curly brackets {} and have the initials of the person who made or supported the comments. The only people who comments (and signed them) were ALAC members and RALO leaders, so the initials should all be recognizable. Version for approval: This is the revised version. There are some editors comments at the end. I suspect that once this version is reviewed there may be some corrections/additions needed, but I believe that it is very close to what we have been talking about. I would suggest that we take a few days to receive any final comments, and specifically those noting omissions or errors in fact, and then start a vote soon after any corrections are made. Alan
