As has been mentioned before, those APAC ALS representatives who were present at the Sao Paulo ICANN meeting felt it would be useful to have the whole community discuss the next steps to forming the APAC RALO, and a time and date which was chosen is as follows:

 

DATE: 19th December

TIME: 20:00 Tokyo Time

 

ICANN will provide the teleconference bridge. If you live in one of the countries where a Freephone number is located, you are encouraged to make use of the free call into the bridge.

 

If a freephone number is unavailable, or if you have had problems using it on previous calls, we can arrange for the conference operator to call you.

 

If you wish to be called, please send an email to the wonderful Victoria Tricamo, at victoria.tricamo@icann.org, letting her know what the number you wish to be called upon is.

 

Further details about the call will be provided in due course.

 

As promised, and as requested at the Sao Paulo meeting, I am taking the most recent Asia Pacific text of Operating Principles and putting the relevant provisions into the format of a Memorandum of Understanding, so that you can see what provisions remain to be agreed by the APAC ALS community. This should come tomorrow, and will be accompanied by the MoU recently signed by ICANN with the LAC region for comparison purposes.
