Dear All,

The Capacity Building Working Group (CBWG) leadership would like to continue the dialogues begun during the “Art of Small Talk” workshop held on 29 November 2021.

On behalf of the CBWG leadership,  this is a call for interested community members willing to share a specific story, or case study, with the working group. 

Specifically, we seek real-life stories where cultural differences have impacted communication and how those situations were resolved. 

The CBWG plans to incorporate these real-life experiences into their ongoing trainings navigating the art of small talk in a multicultural environment.

Community members are requested to please indicate their interest to share their real-life story of challenging communication in a multicultural environment, and also send a brief summary of their story, to At-Large Staff by Friday, 21 January 2022.
