What I drafted was based on the discussions at APRALO LA meeting, when the on-site participants waited until midnight to fit the AP time zones but nobody called in. What the statement expresses is all constructive and well-intended to help the Nomcome to build a substantively and procedurally reasonably selection process. Nomcom Review can be either a genuine process to listen to the people who were inarticulate or a sham to offset public outcry. 

 

Anyway, I've fulfilled my share of responsibility by timely and diligently drafting the statement according to the requirement of the Chair. Now we should expect those are blaming to draft a perfect one to replace this.
