The APRALO Register of Skills & Interests Pilot Cycle 2 will close on 31 January 2025 at 23:59 UTC.  

Please take the time to inform us of your skills/knowledge and interests by completing this RoSI Googleform. All APRALO community members are invited to participate and be identified for specific At-Large and/or APRALO engagements / assignments, as and when such opportunities arise. 

Note 1: If you had participated in the earlier Pilot Cycle 1, you should be able to access the same Googleform to carry out updates. Otherwise try the Cycle 1 link that you used previously.

Note 2: You should consider updating your submission from time to time so that you are sharing current data. For eg, if you have contributed or engaged in an At-Large activity or APRALO small team since September 2024, please include details of that in updating your submission.  

ABOUT THE APRALO ROSI
The APRALO Register of Skills & Interests (RoSI) is intended to be a dynamic register to which APRALO Community members may wish to submit data on their skills, knowledge and interests specifically in areas within ICANN’s remit. Submission of data on experience or interest in advocating for a multistakeholder model in Internet Governance would also be welcomed.

Having completed Cycle 1 in September 2024, we are now running Cycle 2 of this pilot with minimal changes to the Googleform. Thereafter, a review of the pilot is envisaged to facilitate improvements and consideration of new input, such as any new At-Large Strategic Priorities and results of the next APRALO Hot Topics Survey. 

The multi-cycle approach is meant to facilitate the participation of new respondents over time, and to enable past respondents to update their previously submitted data (just for the pilot). 

PURPOSE & USE OF SUBMITTED DATA
Data offered by you through the planned pilot implementation will not be published for public viewing. Instead such data will be processed and accessed exclusively by APRALO Leadership Team Members (and At-Large Staff) for the following purposes.

In terms of Skills, to assess a respondent’s experience, aptitude and suitability for:
  • An invitation to join an APRALO Work Team (or Small Team) or APRALO Policy Forum Small Team to undertake a specific task;
  • Nomination to represent APRALO or to participate in ICANN events, cross-community working groups, policy development work, pen-holding for statements, leading initiatives or events, review teams etc
  • Generally being a resource person for APRALO.
In terms of Interests, to gauge a respondent’s interest to build one’s capacity in APRALO’s or At-Large identified priorities.

In participating in Cycle 2 of the APRALO RoSI, you may choose to provide any amount of data above the minimum that we request of you, and you can update your provided data at any time up to end of January 2025. We would however encourage you to FULLY complete the form to provide the APRALO Leadership Team with sufficient data to be able to harness your skills and knowledge or identify initiatives which you could engage in, for the benefit of the APRALO and/or At-Large Community.
