As you may know, the ICANN Board Liaison is about to be elected, for a term from this October 2007 until the next ICANN AGM in 2008.

The North American and LAC Regional ALS communities got to meet and discuss issues with the candidates in person in San Juan. If the members of the African, Asia-Pacific, and/or European regions would like to have an opportunity to meet the candidates, via teleconference, I am happy to arrange the teleconference.

The ALAC is keen to get the election concluded, and has asked that these teleconferences be arranged for next week - 16 - 22 July. 

The ALAC has further asked that if you are interested in having such a teleconference, you should respond NOT LATER THAN 15 JULY to your regional list.
