As you know, the ALAC are soon to hold their election for the liaison to the ICANN Board of Directors. After consultation with your regional leaders, it is proposed to have a teleconference  on Wednesday 8 August, 1100UTC (0700 NYC, 1400Amman, 1900 Hong Kong, 2100 Sydney) to allow the candidates to speak to those amongst the AP region who are interested, so that you may advise your ALAC Members, Izumi and Cheryl, on your views as to which of the three candidates would best represent the AP region in this post.

I will go ahead and finalise the teleconference arrangements. If anyone wishes to be called by the service, please do provide:
